4. Splinter Cell: Conviction

In development for years, since the release of Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Splinter Cell: Conviction promises an even darker storyline than in Double Agent, which saw Sam Fisher infiltrating a terrorist group, and finally being considered a terrorist himself, on the run from the government.

Splinter Cell: Conviction finds Sam Fisher hunting for answers and kills after the death of his daughter. Tracking down the people responsible, Fisher eventually must also play the hero as Washington, DC comes under attack by terrorist groups.

Splinter Cell: Conviction will be much more action-oriented, focusing on revenge and full-out attacks. Fisher will not only viciously kill his enemies, but he will brutally interrogate anyone he believes is responsible for his daughter’s death. When you capture an enemy and want to interrogate him you can slap him around a bit or you can drag over to items such as sinks, mirrors, statues or anything else to beat him around and get him to talk.

Featuring new gadgets such as Sonar Goggles, vicious AI that reacts to your actions, and a game that forces you to think about your next move, Splinter Cell: Conviction looks darker than any other Splinter Cell title and finds Sam Fisher more motivated than ever. Watch out world, Fisher is pissed.

Splinter Cell: Conviction will be arriving on February 23, 2010.
