First L.A. Noire Screens Revealed

It’s a good day for screenshots as one after another they seem to be piling out. First there was the first look at Assassin’s Creed 2: Bonfire of the Vanities and then there were the exclusive, Wii screens for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and now we’re lucky enough to get a glimpse, thanks to Game Informer, at L.A. Noire. Now admittedly, these screens were unveiled yesterday, but still, it’s a lot of game screen goodness coming out all at once.

L.A. Noire is being developed by Team Bondi for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. It will be set in the year 1947 in Los Angeles and will feature a fully-recreated, highly authentic vision of Tinseltown in its growing stages. The story will be a classic murder thriller with you playing as a hardboiled detective. Think L.A. Confidential and you have some idea what L.A. Noire‘s storyline and setting will be like.

The game looks immensely promising and is being published by Rockstar, who have a real penchant for quality. So even though the game has been years in development, count on Team Bondi and Rockstar to make sure it’s a quality product. It looks pretty good to us – check out the screens after the break and let us know what you think.
