Discord is Teaming up with Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed Sisterhood for Breast Cancer Research

In celebration of International Women’s Day on Monday, Discord is partnering with Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed Sisterhood, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to support the widespread effort to cure breast cancer: a disease that one in eight women will suffer from in their lifetime.

Starting today – and lasting through all of next week – Discord is teaming up with Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed Sisterhood (a group of female gamers dedicate to empowering other women players), as well as numerous female-focused gaming servers such as GameHERSmissesmae and TheHotdish, to raise funds for the BCRF and support women across the globe. Together, these community leaders will be doing everything from giveaways, to art streams and eating spicy squid flakes to help work towards a collective goal of $50,000

To kick things off, Ubisoft has pledged a $50,000 donation, and Discord has committed to matching any additional donations up to $60,000. See above for the full schedule of events, as well as the official blog post from Discord HERE for more details.
