Forza 3: Two Million And Counting

Microsoft Announces Release of “Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit Track Pack”

February 10, 2010 Forza Motorsport 3, Turn 10’s authentic race simulation game featuring hundreds of cars and more than 20 tracks, has been awarded double-platinum status according to a Microsoft press release.

The racer, which released in October, sold a million copies in just over a month after its release but has continued to sell well in the three months since then.

The announcement came along with the news that the “Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit Track Pack” would be available for 400 Microsoft Points. The Nurburgring is a famed racing track in Europe that was featured in Forza Motorsport 3. Featuring sharp turns, a long length and the ability for the public to race on the track, it is one of the most famous race tracks in the world. The “Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit Track Pack” meticulously recreates the Grand Prix track at Nurburgring. The track pack includes two layouts of the circuit – the full 3.22-mile circuit and a shorter 2.24-mile sprint circuit.

Forza Motorsport 3 was developed by Turn 10 and was published by Microsoft Game Studios. It is available exclusively on the Xbox 360.
