Rumor: Aliens vs Predator Demo This Thursday

Ad Appears On Xbox 360 Dashboard Touting Demo’s Arrival on Thursday

February 2, 2010 – Joystiq and AvPGalaxy are reporting that an ad for the Aliens vs Predator demo popped up on the Xbox 360 dashboard this afternoon and quickly disappeared. The ad announced that the demo will be released on February 4 for the Xbox 360.

AvPGalaxy also reports that the demo will be arriving on the PlayStation Network and Steam on the same day.

Aliens vs Predator will allow players to take on the role of Aliens, Predators and Marines through the single player campaign and will feature numerous multiplayer modes. The game is being developed by Rebellion, who recently developed the absolutely horrifically bad Rogue Warrior. However, what we have seen of Aliens vs Predator looks extremely promising. Action packed, frightening and varied in its gameplay. We can’t wait for its release and luckily we won’t have to wait long.

We’ve inquired with Sega about the Demo and will let you know when anything official is announced.

Aliens vs Predator will be arriving on store shelves and on Steam on February 16 in North America and February 19 in Europe. It is being published by Sega. It will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

UPDATE: SEGA has confirmed that a multiplayer demo will be arriving tomorrow. Details can be found here.
