New BioShock 2 Trailer On NBC Tonight

New Trailer Will Be 3 Minutes, 15 Seconds Long

February 2, 2010 – A new, 3 minute, 15 second long trailer for BioShock 2 will debut tonight during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC. The new trailer will debut during the first commercial break of the show, which comes on at 11:30 PM.

BioShock 2, which arrives on Tuesday, February 9 is the highly-anticipated sequel to BioShock, the stunning game from 2K Boston which put players in the shoes of a man who finds himself the victim of a plane crash in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The plane crashes near a lighthouse that leads down to an underwater utopia that has gone sour. The city, Rapture, is the focal point of BioShock 2, which takes place ten years after the end of the first game.

A press release issued by 2K Games today said, “Debuting during the first commercial block of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon exclusively in North America, the launch trailer is a realization of the elements that Bioshock 2 fans have been clamoring for. Breathtaking action set against the backdrop of a decaying underwater Utopia provides players with the slice of Rapture that awaits them next week, all presented in a style that is distinctively representative of the BioShock universe.”

Check out the commercial just after 11:30 tonight, BioShock fans!
