Special Edition Features Vinyl Album, CD, Book, Lithographs. Uber Edition Features A Working Big Daddy?

February 2, 2010 – 2K Games unveiled the first official look at the Bioshock 2 Special Edition, which is available for pre-order now. The video, which can be seen below, highlights the awesome contents of the special edition of the game.

So what’s inside the box? While she unveils the PC version, both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions will feature exactly the same special content and packaging. It will feature a vinyl record entitled “I Am Rapture, Rapture Is Me” with all of the original music from Bioshock as well as “Sounds From The Lighthouse,” the Bioshock 2 score featuring 26 songs on CD. Also included will be the 168-page long, hardcover “Deco Devolution,” the Bioshock 2 art book featuring an inside look at the creation of Rapture. Three incredibly cool-looking lithographs that can be framed and posted on your walls. And finally, there is a copy of Bioshock 2.

Finally, for all of you “wealthy” gamers out there, 2K unveiled the stunning Bioshock 2 Uber Edition. For a mere $14,999 gamers will receive a life-size, working Big Daddy. The only problem: you can’t control him. He most likely will kill you. On second thought, 2K Games may be re-thinking the Uber Edition given what happens to Elizabeth Tobey, 2K’s Community Manager in the video below. Check it out and get excited for Bioshock 2‘s arrival next Tuesday. And don’t take the Uber Edition seriously. It doesn’t exist.
