The long-awaited Northeast Corridor Expansion Pack is now available! Complete with the AEM-7 electric locomotive and Amfleet passenger cars, this terrific 90-mile route runs all the way from Philadelphia West 30th Street Station to New York Penn Station. Guide your AEM-7 out of Penn Station on an evening run to Philadelphia, checking the in-cab signalling and watching the speed limit readout on your right-hand side: pretty soon you are leaving the tunnel and crossing the marshes alongside the New Jersey Turnpike towards Secaucus, Newark and on to Philly!The AEM-7 ‘Toaster’ or ‘Little Volvo’ locomotive, in Amtrak livery, features accurate sounds and a detailed cab interior with functioning in-cab signalling, opening windows, moveable sunshades and more. The route itself is packed with detail and is a great new expansion for US train fans everywhere, being the first US electric route we have created for RailWorks and also our first passenger-oriented route in the US.
