First Footage of Ocarina of Time 3D Surfaces

There’s no contest.  The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was, without a doubt, the best title released on the N64.  It may just be the greatest adventure title to date.  There are even people who argue that it’s the best game ever.  With the game having enjoyed such monstrous success, it’s only natural that gamers worldwide should be excited for the title’s 3D makeover, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.

Puissance-Nintendo, a French gaming website, recently released a video showing the first footage of the remake.  Although the video only offers a short glimpse of the title, ending after the title screen appears, it should be more than enough to pump up both long-time fans of the series and people just debating whether to buy Nintendo’s revolutionary console when it releases.

You might not be able to see much of the 3D detail from the cameraman’s perspective, but the amount of 3D blur that is visible during the intro alone is enough to see that this isn’t just some shabby port of a popular game that doesn’t add anything to the experience.  And if that doesn’t give you an idea of how nicely the game is shaping up, maybe the spectators’ reactions after the game is taken away will.
