Apple’s iPad is now available for pre-order.

The tablet device will be available on April 3 with Wi-Fi capability and will also be available in late April with 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities. The iPad has been touted as a device with a strong future for gaming and will feature the full line-up of iPhone games at launch and will soon have games developed uniquely for its larger screen and higher-definition capabilities as well.

A 16 GB, Wi-Fi capable iPad retails for $499 while the 32 GB version is priced at $599 and the 64 GB iPad is $699. The 3G-capable iPads are available for pre-order now as well and are retailing at higher prices. The 16 GB Wi-Fi and 3G enabled iPad retails for $629, the 32 GB is $729 and the 64 GB version costs $829.
