MLB 2K10 Arrives Tomorrow; $1 Million Contest Begins

MLB 2K10 arrives in stores tomorrow for gamers on most major platforms, and with its release comes the heralding of Spring Training and the opportunity to win $1 million dollars for recording a perfect game.

The contest will begin with the game’s launch tomorrow and will conclude on May 2. Gamers must pitch a perfect game in MLB 2K10 and they must record their perfect game using a camera of digital video recorder and must submit a DVD of the performance to 2K Sports. The first person to do so will win $1 million dollars. A hefty prize for playing a game of baseball, eh? You’ll almost be paid like the guys on the field.

There are some stipulations to the contests. Beyond needing to film the perfect game you must also be online on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version of the game during your pitching performance. You must also be a resident of the U.S. (again, sorry Canada, Mexico et al.) and you may not live in Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota or Vermont as these states are excluded from the contest.

We will be reviewing MLB 2K10 upon its release, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for the review and unfortunately this writer won’t be able to win $1 million since he lives in Vermont. Really, Vermont? Why?

MLB 2K10 was developed by Visual Concepts and will be published by 2K Sports. The cover features Tampa Bay Rays star Evan Longoria and the game will be released on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP.
