New MLB 10: The Show Screens

New Screens Show Off The Visual Highlights Of Sony’s Latest Baseball Title

January 30, 2010 – Six new MLB 10: The Show screens showed up today.

With baseball season just around the corner now – yes, it really is getting close to spring training season already – the folks at Sony are starting to release more screens of their latest baseball title. MLB 09: The Show was highly acclaimed for astounding visuals, realistic gameplay and great depth and MLB 10: The Show comes in with high expectations because of the success of its predecessor.

Early signs are strong that MLB 10: The Show will be another big hit with the PlayStation 3 community. The first shots of Target Field, the new Minnesota Twins ballpark showed up a few weeks ago and can be seen below, as can the newest screens, just released by Sony.

In addition to stunning graphics and previews of the Twins new park, Sony released screens of classic stadiums that can be unlocked in the game or purchased as DLC. The Polo Grounds, Crosley Field, Forbes Field, Griffith Stadium, Shibe Park and Sportsman’s Park will be available.

Check out all the screens and let us know what you think – as a Red Sox fan (born and raised in New England, I bleed Red Sox. Seriously, ask about the 2003 ALCS and why my discman/radio is no longer around), I think Ellsbury is going to slide in safe. Sorry, Joe Mauer.
