Gran Turismo Sport Coming to the PS4 November 15th


Polyphony Digital latest entry in the series Gran Turismo Sport, the latest racer in the long-running series, will make its debut on PlayStation 4 later this year.

The game will release on November 15th in North America, Japan and in the South East Asia regions. November 18th in Europe. This news was announced at an exclusive event in London, where CEO Kazunori Yamauchi took to the stage to to say that the upcoming title will feature “a level of innovation not seen since the first Gran Turismo.”

Gran Turismo Sport comes with four groups of vehicles, with each containing real and fantasy cars. We’re told that the cars now have an interior view and have been redone “from scratch.”

There will be 137 ‘Super Premium’ car models, 19 locations with 27 layouts, and dirt tracks are also making a return.

Sport will also boast a Twitter-like timeline with updates on activities and events, and will feature a livery editor (a first for the series) and companion app.

Photo mode makes a return, now dubbed ‘Scapes’, with the player able to place the car in over 1000 locations. There is no limit to the amount of cars you can place on-screen (provided there’s space for them), and the mode outputs images in 4K.
