REMINDER: ‘Design Many Robots’ Voting for ‘Shoot Many Robots’ Contest Ends Tonight

The online contest dubbed ‘Design Many Robots’ for fans of the upcoming downloadable title, Shoot Many Robots from Demiurge Studios, will come to a close this evening, May 12th at 11:59pm EST.More details after the jump.

The contest asked creators to design their own vision of mechanical terror to be shot full of lead in the upcoming project, vying for a chance to have their robot appear in the first expansion pack for Shoot Many Robots after the game launches in 2011. Winners of the contest will also be given the chance to be flown to the Boston area to visit Demiurge Studios in person to watch their own robot creation come to life within the game.

The contest has seen a very close race over the past few weeks between Igor Sobolevsky’s wheeled ‘Trikey’ design and James Mosingo’s jaw-clamping ‘Gnash Britches’ concept, but with the voting open until this evening, it’s still anyone’s game!

The fate of the final five robot designs rests in the hands of fans across the world.  Voting is still open on the Shoot Many Robots website, and fans can now have their say of which concept will go steel-to-shrapnel against P. Walter Tugnut in the first expansion pack for Shoot Many Robots when the game launches on consoles later this year.
