LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 Demo Coming Soon

The magical journey into a mixture of two fantasy worlds, LEGO and Harry Potter, is almost upon us, and of course that means there’s a demo coming. LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 will be available on the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace next week, on June 7th. PlayStation 3 and PC owners will have to wait until “late June” for the brick-by-brick spell-casting demo.

What can we expect from the demo? According to the press release players will get a taste for learning spells, most likely attending wizarding classes, and you will get to “explore the Forbidden Forest.”

LEGO crossover games, historically, are filled with innumerable amounts of collectables and goodies so it’s a fair assumption that the demo will barely scratch the surface. After all, there are over 167 unlockable characters in the full game. Warner Brothers Interactive did not specify when, but my guess would be a week or so before the release of the actual game, which is June 25th in the UK and the 29th in the US.
