Well, you can’t say Remedy isn’t giving gamers plenty of time to get through the long campaign for Alan Wake. Microsoft announced today that DLC for its Xbox 360-exclusive horror title will be arriving on July 27.

The DLC, titled “The Signal,” will be free to gamers who purchased the game new via a coupon code included in the packaging for the game, which was released today in North America.

No details were released about the DLC, but we can assume it will feature more interesting characters, more dark creatures of the night, and more jumping-out-of-your-chair frights.
