There is nothing like going through the city on a sunny day…while buildings are falling around you and people are trying to kill you that is. Army of Two: The 40th day got gamers hooked with its demo of mass destruction back in December and its full release in January. Now, EA has revealed that DLC is in the game’s near-future.
Army of Two: The 40th day is the sequel to the smash hit Army of Two, available on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Rios and Salem get thrown into more firefights were everything blows up (even more so than in the first game.) The game, which requires that players cooperate to move through missions, has generally been met with praise throughout the games industry and it looks like EA will be rewarding the gamers who purchased and have been plowing through the title with their friends.
The DLC will add two new chapters to the campaign. Called “Chapters of Deceit,” it will follow Salem & Rios as they find intel that could help them end the invasion of Shanghai by The 40th Day. It will consist of two new maps to shoot your way through and will cost 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 on PSN.
Chapters of Deceit will be available for download on April 1st, so you have a few months to catch up if you haven’t already been playing through Salem & Rios’ latest over-the-top adventure.
