The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony Becomes Available on March 30 For PS3 and PC Gamers

January 29, 2010 – After being released to critical acclaim on the Xbox 360, the PS3 and PC will finally see Episodes from Liberty City arriving on March 30.

In a press release e-mailed this morning, Rockstar Games announced that the two add-ons would be made available to purchase in store and via the PlayStation Network and Games for Windows-LIVE.

The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are both significant add-ons to Grand Theft Auto IV, adding many, many hours of gameplay, intriguing new characters and fascinating stories that add to the lore of Liberty City.

The Lost and Damned follows outlaw biker Johnny Klebitz as he fights to keep his gang together when a power struggle emerges.

The Ballad of Gay Tony puts gamers in the shoes of Luis Lopez, who works for “Gay Tony”, a club owner. Players must complete tasks for the club owner in order to keep his clubs up and running and to feed Tony’s drug addiction.

The episodes both were critically well received, with The Lost and Damned receiving an average Metacritic score of 90% and The Ballad of Gay Tony receiving an 89% average. Downloading the two episodes will require GTA IV to run. However, gamers can also buy a hard copy of Episodes from Liberty City, which includes both add-ons and doesn’t require GTA IV to be played.

Episodes from Liberty City is being developed for the PS3 and PC by Rockstar North and will be published by Rockstar Games which is owned by Take-Two.
