Assassin’s Creed 2: Battle of Forli DLC Dated

First Round of Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Coming Next Week To Xbox Live, PSN

January 22, 2010 Battle of Forli, the first Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC package, will be made available on Xbox Live and PSN on January 28. The DLC package will be neatly priced at only 320 MS Points / $3.99.

The DLC will find Ezio returning to Forli, the fortified port city that acted as a gateway to Venice in Assassin’s Creed 2. The DLC will consist of six new memories — a pretty significant set of missions that should make for a few hours of action — in which Ezio must defend Forli from the Orsi brothers. Ezio will enlist the aid of Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza (the intriguing beauty that Ezio rescued from the island off of Forli’s coast) to defeat the brothers.

Sounds intriguing and any new Assassin’s Creed 2 action is definitely high on our anticipation radars. I think we’ll be able to make some time to tackle the new missions, even if Mass Effect 2 is taking up 20 out of 24 hours in our day.
