Splinter Cell: Conviction Delayed Again

Sam Fisher’s Latest Appearance Pushed Back to April

January 14, 2010 Splinter Cell: Conviction, the latest game in the long-running Splinter Cell franchise, has been delayed again. The game, which underwent a major reboot, was set to release on February 23 but has now been pushed back to April 2010.

The news came amidst a financial performance update which announced reduced sales targets for the company and also announced a delay for R.U.S.E, pushing that tile to a 2010-2011 release date.

Splinter Cell: Conviction will find Sam Fisher hunting down those responsible for his daughter’s death. Abandoned by the government after going deep undercover in Double Agent, Splinter Cell: Conviction will find a jaded and vicious Sam Fisher going in with guns blazing. Of course, after two delays and years in the making, who knows when the Conviction will finally be available.
