Getting Up Close and Personal With Your Enemies
January 7, 2010 – Yesterday, the team at Bioware and EA released a new video for Mass Effect 2, highlighting the Vanguard class.
The Vanguard Class will allow players to assume a tougher, more brutal Commander Shepard. The Vanguard class combines powerful weapons abilities with biotic talents in order to allow Shepard to get up close and personal with his enemies – we’re talking shotgun to the face gameplay. The Vanguard player will act as a front line of offense in the fight against an encroaching, alien force in Shepard’s “suicidal” mission. It includes the “charge” ability, which allows players to move Shepard quickly towards an enemy, taking them by surprise.
Mass Effect 2 is being developed by Bioware and published by EA. It will be released on January 26 in North America and January 29 in Europe.
