Capcom Has Reaffirmed Its Commitment To Developing Games for Wii
January 7, 2010 – Antoine Seux, Director General of Capcom France, had previously stated that Capcom would reduce their investment in Wii games after the poor sales of Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles.
However, today Capcom Europe issued the following statement: “Further to comments made in a recent article on French website Gamekult, Capcom would like to confirm its commitment as a multi-platform developer and publisher of interactive software.”
Capcom is scheduled to release Monster Hunter 3 for the Wii later this year in North America and Europe. Other recent and upcoming Capcom Wii games include Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars.
