Bioware Unveils Video Interviews with Cast Members, Insights Into Mass Effect 2’s Story

On Friday, December 11, Bioware and Electronic Arts posted a video documentary highlighting the numerous Hollywood stars who will be bringing their talents to the story in Mass Effect 2. The list, including Martin Sheen and Seth Green in addition to many others, is impressive and is a strong indicator of the cinematic quality of the game.

The first Mass Effect game found Commander Shepard, a human, Alliance military Commander fighting against a rogue Spectre, Saren, in a race against time to save the galaxy. At the end of Mass Effect, Commander Shepard knows that the battle is not over and that he must now take the fight for the galaxy to the Reaper attackers who nearly decimated the Milky Way and its inhabitants. Mass Effect 2 will find Commander Shepard assembling a squad of the most ruthless fighters and killers in the galaxy in order to go behind the veil to reach the Reapers.

Mass Effect 2 will be shipping with two DVDs worth of content, and will be a larger, darker, and even more engaging epic than the first game. The series will be a trilogy.
