2k Sports Offers Players A Chance To Win $1,000,000

January 28, 2010 – You heard correctly. 2k Sports will award the first person to throw a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K10 with $1,000,000.

The contest will end just before May 2nd and will be available through Xbox Live and PSN. The contest will run from March 2 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time and will end at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on May 1. In order to compete, gamers must played in MLB Today mode and then choose to participate in the ‘Major League Baseball 2K10 contest’ that will allow 2k to monitor the gameplay and ensure that no cheating is taking place. Furthermore, gamers must record the game using either a camera or a digital video recorder and submit a copy on a DVD.

If 2k Sports is looking to make big money on their game, this is probably a good way to ensure sales. After all, who doesn’t want a chance to win a million bucks. I only have one question: do you have to buy the game or can you win the million on a “review copy” of the game?

Major League Baseball 2K10 will be released on March 2 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2, Wii and PSP. More details about the contest are to come forward shortly.
