Desmond Miles Returning for a Third Assassin’s Creed Game in 2010

Ubisoft have announced that we can expect another Assassin’s Creed title later this year. In a press release, the company announced that the new episode will be the first in the series to have an online multiplayer mode, but no further details on the game have been released.

The company also said that over the next year it intends to focus more on the Xbox 360 and PS3, “which are expected to experience sustained sales growth in games for gamers in … 2010”. The announcement seems to indicate a move away from “games for gamers” on the Nintendo Wii, a sentiment that has also been echoed by other publishers.
