Porn Star Blames Video Games for Negative Influences on Society

Ron Jeremy Says Video Games, Not Porn Are Negative Influence

January 9, 2010 Everybody knows about the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this weekend, but there’s another convention in town as well, and the two don’t get along so well. At CES today porn star Ron Jeremy, in town for the Adult Entertainment Expo, went head-to-head with an anti-pornography activist during a panel debate, arguing that video games have a more negative impact on society than porn does.

Jeremy made the argument that the adult entertainment industry doesn’t target people under the age of eighteen, whereas the gaming industry has no problem providing the nation’s youth with violent and explicit forms of entertainment. “We don’t want kids to watch porn. Studies have found that violent video games are much bigger a negative influence on kids,” stated Jeremy at the debate. To make sure he got his point across, the porn guru proceeded to toss a few games into busy Las Vegas traffic.

What Mr. Jeremy probably should have considered is the negative influence his actions would have on his credibility. It’s pretty hard to take him seriously when he himself filmed a promotional video for the game Fairytale Fights. Hypocrisy thy name is Ron.
