You would have thought that the newest installment in the Medal of Honor series was being developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE), right? It only seems natural, what with all of the credit being paid to them and the fact that anybody who bought either of the company’s latest titles, Battlefield 1943 or Battlefield Bad Company 2, got access to the game’s beta when they pre-ordered the game.  Apparently that’s not the case.

Word surfaced this afternoon that Electronic Arts has decided to part ways with French developer Ubisoft. The official word is that Electronic Arts sold their stake in the company to reduce their stock portfolio and facilitate upcoming changes in their strategic priorities.
