The walking dead are going to be coming in masses this time around, again. With the sequel to Dead Rising coming up fast we can expect a multitude of decent little goodies popping up in the near future. To start it all off Capcom gave us a taste of the box art for the game and a link to a website where viewers can track the progress of Lance, Gretchen, Wally, and Johnny Pipes. The hellish beat-em-up game, Darksiders, will be available to PC users in the near future. THQ has promised that Darksiders “has now been meticulously crafted for the PC to deliver the same great art style and dynamic game play to a whole new audience.” You should be able to pick it up September 24th. However, there will also be a special Hell Book edition available as well.

If one were to pick up the Hell Book edition of Darksiders one would find a decent haul of goodies inside. Included will be the Darksiders’ soundtrack CD and a comic book and art cards created by Joe Madureira, artist of such comic books as “The Uncanny X-Men,” “The Ultimates,” and “Battle Chasers.” This special edition certainly isn’t the heftiest that we’ve seen, but for Madureira fans I’m sure there will be no complaints.


There was a time in gaming history when the genre of survival horror meant two things. You felt alone, constantly low on ammunition, health items, and save points. You were surviving. Secondly it regarded the persistent uneasiness which couldn’t be shaken throughout the entire game, things were actually scary. You were horrified. It has come to my attention that, perhaps in the same way that the platforming genre has been slowly phased out, the survival horror genre is decaying. Pun intended. Following Capcom’s announcement of a Resident Evil game for Nintendo’s 3DS we received word that Tecmo Koei also has a few games in store for the system which will add a new dimension into gamers’ lives. Hit the jump to see what’s been confirmed in development.

Rejoice, Just Cause 2 players, for Square Enix and Avalanche Studios is releasing a free downloadable content pack containing that glorious little Tuk Tuk you see in the picture there. The reason for this little goodie is simply a thank you to all the members of the Just Cause 2 community. You can download it for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 today, as well as items that were previously only available to those who had pre-ordered the game.
