The demos for FIFA 11 and Pro Evo Soccer 11 are both available now for the Xbox 360 and will be available later today for the PlayStation 3.

The news about Pro Evo Soccer’s demo release comes via Joe Murphy, the project leader behind PES 2011, who tweeted yesterday that the Xbox LIVE demo was confirmed for today. As per usual, he also added in a separate tweet that the PlayStation 3 would come in the afternoon as they usually don’t drop on the PS3 first thing in the day. continue reading…


 
American McGee’s Alice is one of the most unique, and fun platformers of the past decade. When it was released in 2000 it quickly drew acclaim (and a cult audience) with its incredible visuals, unique worlds based on Lewis Carroll’s famed book, and an excellent, twisted story. Alice was a dark game, and it’s finally getting a sequel, Alice Returns.

Earlier this week we reported that Company of Heroes and Relic designer Brian Wood was killed in a tragic car accident, and while he has passed on, his wife and soon-to-be-born child are left alone and will need help. Luckily, there’s a way for everyone interested to help them. The Brian Wood Memorial Trust has been set up to help Brian’s wife, Erin, and their child in their time of need. continue reading…

Relic and Company of Heroes designer Brian Wood, sadly, died in a car accident on Friday.

According to The Province, out of Vancouver, Wood and his pregnant wife of five years, Elin Wood, were headed to a family home on Whidbey Island in Washington. As they made their way there, an out-of-control Chevy Blazer crossed the center line and, seeing that they were about to be struck head-on, Brian slammed on the brakes and jammed the steering wheel hard to the right to get his pregnant wife out of harm’s way. The out-of-control SUV struck his car and killed him but his heroic act left his wife with just a minor head injury and left his unborn child healthy. continue reading…
