PlayStation Now Beta Voucher Codes Going Out

By: General Press

We posted previously about accepting the invites and now Sony is sending out voucher codes for PlayStation Now.

Those of you lucky enough to get the invite before should start receiving PSN voucher codes to redeem for downloading the PlayStation Now App for your PS3 as Sony has started emailing those vouchers out today.

Once redeemed the application is only 40mb in size but will promopt you to update to version 2.0 once launched which is another 42mb to download.

Cool I’m waiting for mine as I type. I hope soon

  • Louis Edwards

Only 19 games to choose from right now so you’re not missing much yet.

Not the point I like helping out and checking out betas. I done many betas and dashboards with MS and done some for PS. I also an a Ambassador for MS and Help on Gamer tag Conduct use.

  • Louis Edwards

Agreed. I’ve been in countless betas and always help with feedback and such.

Someone please post a list of the 19 games that are on PlayStation now

What happens if we changed our playstation email address? If the code was sent to that address ill never get it. That old address isn’t used anymore.

  • Brandon October

please anyone send a beta code my way! 🙁

  • Louis Edwards

Then you need to update that email address, other wise they won’t be able to contact you.

I don’t understand why they are sending beta invites to PS3 owners to stream PS3 content on it, send the invites to PS4 owners since that’s going to be your main target audience, with a PS3 why would you feel the need to stream a PS3 game when you can just go rent it or buy it FOR THAT SYSTEM for probably around the same price as the PS Now rental. At least with streaming on PS4 those system owners will be able to play previous system games (PS3, PS2, PS1) since Sony isn’t big on backwards compatibility.

  • Coma

That’s the whole point, is it’s a rental service. Rather than go to a red box and get the game, you can just stream it like Netflix.

  • lassenwolf

If you don’t know that answer you don’t need or deserve a code

  • Daniel Brown

How do I update that email address? I have already changed my email address and applied it to my playstation account, so they should be able to contact me now?
