Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Patch #3 Released Across All Platforms

Ubisoft has released a game patch for all three platforms for Splinter Cell Blacklist. Get the details for each platform patch after the jump.

 

PC Patch Notes

ADV IMPROVEMENTS

  • Money and experience are now automatically saved when the game ends due to host migration
  • The host’s team is no longer guaranteed to play as Mercs first. The team will be randomly chosen to start as either Spies or Mercs.
  • Removed Exit Match option during mid-match menus and halftime report.
  • Made maps-specific changes to prevent spawn-killing in general and spawn-killing by drones specifically.

CONTROLS

  • Split of “Use” and “Attack” actions
  • Allow controller to work even when window is not in focus
  • Fix crash on loading screen when disconnecting controller
  • Fix active sprint toggle

GRAPHICS

  • 16:10 aspect ratio support (option in video settings for non-letterboxed mode)
  • Support for 3+ GPUs
  • Fix for flicking lights on certain multiple GPU setups

GAMEPLAY

  • Fix bug with mines not always working with NPCs
  • Fix issue with assault mastery on ghost maps
  • Fix freezes in certain levels
  • Fix invisible collision area in certain co-op level
  • Fix bug where players can get stuck at the end of a certain co-op level
  • Fix crash when walking on the big pipes
  • Fix issue where final cutscene may not be correctly visible

UI

  • Fix black screen when accessing after action report from lobby at certain times
  • Show hack reset camera in killcam of players
  • Fix mouse scroll usage on missions settings menu
  • Fix some instance of incorrect button prompts
  • Fix for disappearing mouse cursor on changing language settings
  • Fix issue with cell feed menus
  • Fix issue where player can get stuck in video settings menu
  • Fix issue where restart story menu can’t be accessed
  • Fix problem with selecting challenges and scrolling through list

AUDIO

  • Fix audio volume in videos

ONLINE

  • Improved spawn algorithm
  • Extended drone exclusion radius
  • Fix issue with drones not getting properly destroyed
  • Prevent drones getting into spy spawning volume
  • Anti-RFD helmet no longer blocks torso abilities

XBOX 360 Patch notes

Issues addressed in the patch

  • Fixing issue where the client of a map will fall through the map on a specific condition
  • Fix a few remaining random crashes
  • Fix a few remaining tracking issues (invisible for the user)
  • Further improvements on the reliability of the save system to avoid some remaining rare cases of save game corruption.
  • Fix an issue where the spy doesn’t have a kill prompt when the Merc is crouch against this desk.
  • Fix a walkthrough break in COOP/Abandoned City mission where the player would not be able to move further in the mission even though they cleared the area.
  • Fix an issue that prevented the user from continuing the game after Kobin’s map if the player didn’t have enough money to upgrade Paladin.
  • Fix an issue that made the Nouri mission fail if the player is using the tri-rotor to stun NPCs.
  • Fix an issue causing the “Rename Loadout” menu to be displayed for the user instead of the “Record Sound” menu if the user follows some certain steps.
  • Fix an issue that caused a forced termination when quitting game/ejecting disc during Mission Failed screen
  • Fix an abuse that allowed spy to shoot with a 2 hands weapon while being in shimmy.
  • Fix an issue that could cause the reinforcement not to make it into the vault when downloading the USB key.
  • Fix an issue that caused several buttons to lose functionality and caused the leaderboards to get corrupted after browsing through the ShadowNet tabs in a specific order
  • Fix an issue that could cause the character to spawn with no weapon and without being able to shoot in certain conditions.
  • Improve Kinect voice commands in localisations.
  • Fix an issue that caused Merc characters to stay up after being killed by H2H during transition between sprint and idle/walk animation.
  • Fix Kinect voice feature remaining on after being switched off in the menu
  • ADV – Fixed bug that caused Sticky Cam damage to deal far too much damage. The Stick Cam damage is now fairly balanced compared to the other
  • gadgets.
  • ADV – Fixed bug where enemies were not properly hidden from Motion Tracker while crouched
  • ADV – Fixed bug where Mercs would sometimes reload automatically for no reason
  • ADV – Fixed one spot in Lebanese Hospital map where spies were unable to perform a CQC kill from cover
