Uh, I for one definitely see potential enjoyment in whacking chickens, tipping cows, and going fishing instead of playing poker. Most importantly, drunk driving would be a blast because in the boonies it happens all the time!

I can just see it now - GTA New England & GTA Pennsylvania. Drive tractors, trucks, and roar down rural country roads.

Seriously though, it would be cool to have a smaller city that is surrounded by countryside for a change of setting. I remember Mafia had this great city but it was surrounded by farms and woods and you had car chases out there, made illicit deals in a barn (that led to a shootout) and even chased a guy down to a motel where he then put you in a standoff. It was good old fashioned fun.

Personally, I'd love to see a rural GTA. Coming from a small farm town in the middle of nowhere, I gotta say there's nothing quite like hitching up a horse and buggy and going for a joyride around town. Is it just me or does anyone else see the potential enjoyment in taking on a mission to go and whack all of old man Jenkin's chickens?

@darksand3 - I meant a modern GTA with a highly realistic city.

Personally I would really have loved to have seen a completely different setting for GTA, away from the U.S. What about a GTA set in Paris or London? Imagine tearing on a chase through the narrow, cobblestoned streets of Paris. Chasing people in boats on the Louvre? It would be amazing!
