Ubisoft released a multiplayer walkthrough video yesterday for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

The game will be the first in the series to encompass the multiplayer experience, and should add a VERY unique twist to the Assassin’s Creed games.

According to the press release issued by Ubisoft, the multiplayer will “feature multiple authentic character classes, each with their own signature weapons and killing moves. With richly-detailed maps and a wide variety of unique multiplayer modes, you’ll never fight the same way twice.”

Honestly, what we can see of it looks pretty awesome. Hunting down other players and assassinating them in cold blood? Assassin’s Creed is already an excellent series. This could just add another horde of playing time to the game that will already supposedly feature “over 15 hours of single-player gameplay.”

The game will follow Ezio, the hero of Assassin’s Creed 2, and will take place in Rome. It’s due to arrive later this year.
