Industry analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan says that Microsoft’s Natal motion-sensing project for the Xbox 360 will sell 10 million units within a year of its launch this Holiday season.
Pachter also said, in an interview with PS3 Center, that he believes Natal will outsell Sony’s PlayStation Arc by a 5 to 1 ratio.
“I think that the Sony motion controller [Arc] will have some problems gaining traction, since it is not an “in the box” solutions. That will probably limit adoption to 1 or 2 million at the outset.”
Pachter has been speaking out recently about Microsoft’s upcoming motion-sensing project as he predicted yesterday that Natal will launch at a $50 price-point.
