Cerberus Armor and Eviscerator Shotgun Available Today For Free via Cerberus Network
February 9, 2010 - Today, Mass Effect 2 players will be able to download free DLC via the in-game Cerberus Network. Gamers will be able to download and use a new armor type as well as a powerful shotgun.
According to Chris Priestly of BioWare, the DLC, which is now available, includes the Cerberus Assault Armor and the M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun.
The Cerberus Assault Armor is designed for shock troops and will be complemented nicely by the Eviscerator Shotgun. The armor will provide a 10% increase in heavy weapon ammo capacity – great for missile launcher fans – and will also increase shields and health by 10%.
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a long-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. According to BioWare, the design violates several intergalactic weapons treaties and as a result, is illegal.
