		<description>It&#039;s pretty much a lie.  It&#039;s 1 million registered forum accounts.  Many of these are from Champions Online (their registry systems are shared) and beta accounts (they didn&#039;t delete them after the game went live).

I would say the amount of people that actually bought STO is more like 300,000.</description>

It says that 1 million have registered accounts and that means forum accounts. The game has indeed created a lot of interest, but what your headline suggests just isn&#039;t true, since creating a forum account on the STO forums isn&#039;t tied to buying anything.</description>
