Last madden game i played was 06 so most the gameplay is all new to me. The one thing i didn't care much for was having to audible almost every play and not being able to play an entire preseason game. Also noticed almost every play the other qb gets is a pass play even on 1st down and i really thought that a bit annoying, but i just audible to a run 3-4yards/play and let the clock run down to .01sec before the next play. Knowing my luck i'll do better with whoever the qb is for that team and wind up on second string my whole career. I did have an issue 3 games in my first time doing ss mode-not sure what happened, but when the game started every player was number 0 and neither team were getting any stats and it was lagging a lot, almost like it was playing in slow motion...deleted everything and started over. I felt like i was actually a blue chip athlete. it gave me reason to keep playing (winning the Heisman as a four year senior was sweet). so i feel deeply let down that Superstar Mode didn't offer me the same experience. I will never be in the shoes of my favorite athletes, so playing a video game is all i have to sink my teeth into. Oh well, maybe next year. In Madden 10 in the Superstar mode as a QB you CAN call audibles ... You can even go into coaching options and set whatever plays as the audibles. I have Madden 10 for PS3 and all you do is hit the square button and chose your play. I do it ALL the time! I hate running down the clock, so even it I am way up in the score, I like to go for the touchdown! Bryan I have to point out a mistake in your review.
